First five stars on left quadrupled with 2-4 having very large shifts, 6 and 7 stars on left tripled. 1-3 and 5 stars on right doubled 4 tripled. Doubled date with 1 doubled at top right and 878 doubled on surface at bottom of loops and crossbar.
Obverse III215 - Tops of 188 showing in denticles as raised straight bar between denticles below 1. Raised curved bar in denticle space below first 8. Raised curved bar with straight top between denticles below second 8, and short curved bar in next left denticle space.
Reverse C3p - II O mint mark tilted left, re-punched with original showing as a curved line centered at bottom of opening.
Reverse C3a - Raised dots from rusted die pits below left wreath around ONE D.
Obverse III21 - Date set left within normal position. Only faint die clash marks show at lips and eye front.
Reverse C3a - Unusual offset of sideways vee clash marks next to top of right wreath. Top set of sideways vees shows three closely grouped clash marks. Lower group shows three clash marks with fairly wide separation on early die state while later die states only show two outer clash vee marks. These die clash marks appear on very early PL die state coins, so possibly die clashes occurred during die setup in press.
Obverse III2 20 - Clashed die with partial incuse n of In from reverse showing next to Liberty's neck.
Obverse III2 6 - Date set father left than normal. Wide striated die gouges down diagonally from 0 in date down to the right to rim. Second striated die gouge also extends diagonally from rim under first right star.
Reverse C3a - Vertical die gouge above O in ONE.
Obverse III28 - Strongly doubled all left stars towards rim. Phrygian cap doubled at top edge. Slightly doubled profile from LIBERTY band front down to chin, E P-US UNUM and tops of cotton leaves. Very slightly doubled bottom outside of 8 and top of 7.
