Truro

Truro was producing coinage by late December 1642, and operated through the first half of 1643. The equipment was transferred to Exeter after Royalist forces captured it in September 1643. Gold output was low but consisted of Unites and Half-Unites. Crowns, Half-Crowns and Shillings were struck in silver. Current estimates of survivors are about 38 Crowns, 53 Half-Crowns, and fewer Shillings and gold issues.
