Pontefract Castle

In operation from late 1648 to March 25, 1649, past the execution of Charles I in support of Charles II. Issues can read "OBS PC" (obsidium → "siege"). The primary issue was the shilling, but two shillings and gold unites exist but are extremely rare. Across all varieties of shillings dozens are known but most are worn or damaged.
